The European Union applies a temporary tariff of €3 on products valued under €150 sent from outside the EU starting from 1 July 2026. The measure will be in effect until 1 July 2028.
The European Union has established a temporary tariff of €3 on certain products valued below €150 coming from countries outside the Union. The charge applies from 1 July 2026 and will remain in force until 1 July 2028.
The measure also affects orders placed before this date if the goods arrive in Spain after 1 July 2026. The tariff is calculated for each line of the customs declaration, meaning for each type or category of product. A single order may incur multiple charges if it includes items of different nature.
The payment is the responsibility of the person submitting the customs declaration, although this cost may later be passed on to the consumer, either within the final price or at the time of delivery. The application of the tariff does not alter the rights of withdrawal and return that buyers already have.
The measure will be in effect until 1 July 2028.
