The company Arriva (Empresa de Blas y Cía, S.A.), based in Alcorcón, has undertaken the commitment to hire a minimum of 40% of the female students who complete the bus driver training provided at Gala Formación CTM. The course takes place at Avenida Eje Central, 3E, S-10 N-4, Polígono CTM (Mercamadrid), 28053 Madrid.
The training programme consists of 270 hours of in-person training and 25 practical bus classes. It includes the theoretical exam, the practical driving test, and the practical manoeuvring test. Participants will obtain the Bus driving licence (D licence) and the initial CAP for passengers (Professional qualification).
To access the selection process, candidates must meet several requirements: hold a valid B driving licence, be at least 21 years old, possess valid documentation (DNI/NIE), and be registered as a job seeker.
The course organisers plan to set a date with Arriva to conduct the selection test at the Gala Formación CTM facilities. This test will also include a driving test. Interested individuals must be referred by collaborating entities, which can form a group for the test or send them to be included in one. They may also accompany them if deemed appropriate.
