Over 60 agents and emergency professionals from Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, and Las Rozas receive tactical-health training in critical situations. The course is held at the Local Police headquarters in Majadahonda.
Majadahonda hosts this Thursday the Tactical-Health Training Course in Critical Situations, aimed at agents from the Local Police of Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, and Las Rozas, personnel from the Main Post of the Civil Guard in the municipality, and staff from SERMAJ-Civil Protection. A total of more than 60 agents and emergency professionals will participate.
The training is conducted at the Local Police headquarters in Majadahonda and is led by instructors from the Local Police, National Police, Civil Guard, and the Army. The course is accredited by the Spanish Society of Emergency and Urgent Medicine (SEMES).
It consists of two modules. The first, on the psychophysiology of stress and operational performance, examines how the body responds to high-impact threats and how these reactions influence decision-making. The second, on tactical health intervention in life-threatening emergencies, focuses on combat medicine techniques and tactical assistance centred on the main causes of preventable death.
The goal is for first responders, such as Civil Guard and Local Police agents, to stabilise the injured until medical teams arrive. Participants learn to apply the IBERO protocol, which includes five steps: incident information, threat blocking, escalation of emergency services, response and rescue, and order and evacuation.
