The Community of Madrid finances the replacement of the 44 windows of the Administration building of CEIP Claudio Vázquez with 99,998 euros, which had not been changed since its construction.
Students of the Administration building of CEIP Claudio Vázquez in Morata de Tajuña will have new windows for the next school year. The project, fully funded by the Community of Madrid, has a budget of 99,998 euros and is already underway.
The mayor, Gloria de la Torre, and the Education councillor, Enrique Toledo, visited the works on Monday, which consist of replacing the 44 windows of the building. The old iron frames will be replaced with new ones that offer better sealing and thermal and acoustic insulation, and it also includes the renewal of the blinds.
The investment comes from the Reserve Fund of the Regional Investment Programme 2022-2026. As the mayor explained, these windows had never been changed before, dating back to the construction of the building.

Now we are going to achieve more comfortable, more efficient facilities that are adapted to the needs of the teaching staff and students,” said De la Torre.
This intervention adds to other improvements in the centre, such as painting the entire perimeter of the school complex. Additionally, the City Council continues to work on the expansion of the institute, with works progressing to be completed by the beginning of next year.
With this renovation, the students and staff of the Administration building will gain in comfort and energy efficiency, improvements that will be particularly noticeable in the classrooms starting in September.
