The Patios Abiertos programme kicks off on October 1 at CEIP Antoniorrobles and CEIP San Lorenzo, with 40 free places at each centre for students in Early Childhood and Primary Education. Families can register until September 22 via email.

The playgrounds of the public schools CEIP Antoniorrobles and CEIP San Lorenzo will reopen their doors in the afternoons starting October 1. The Patios Abiertos programme, promoted by the Community of Madrid and co-financed with the San Lorenzo de El Escorial Town Hall, allows children to use school facilities outside of school hours.

Students enrolled from 1st year of Early Childhood Education to 6th year of Primary Education will be able to participate. The activity is free and each centre offers 40 places, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The playgrounds will remain open from October to May, only on school days, from 16:00 to 17:30. During this time, children will have free access to the facilities under the supervision of monitors. There are no directed activities: the aim is to provide a space for meeting and coexistence after classes.

The registration period will be open until September 22. Applications should be sent by email to educacion@aytosanlorenzo.es with the completed registration form. Between September 23 and 28, families will receive confirmation of admission via email.

For more information, the Town Hall refers to the Patios Abiertos Programme section of its website and the Education Area, at the phone number 91 890 29 41 or at calle Francisco Muñoz, 2, first floor.
