The Boadilla del Monte City Council has granted, so far this legislature, 93 licences for the construction of 1,196 new homes, of which 632 (53%) are public housing. The areas with the most licences are Valenoso (757), Viñas Viejas (94), La Cárcava (77), and El Encinar (50), in addition to the historic developments of Cortijo Sur, El Pastel, and Sector S.
Regarding the protected homes already delivered, 524 have been promoted by the Community of Madrid through the VIVE Plan for affordable rental, and 158 by the Boadilla Municipal Land and Housing Company (EMSV) for sale. Both developments are located in Valenoso.
Additionally, the City Council has recently granted a surface right over a municipal plot in El Encinar to build 460 public rental housing units. This is in addition to 108 that EMSV is promoting for sale and another 209 that will be built through the sale of public land.
