The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall has organised a new edition of Family Bicycle Day for Sunday, 20th September, which will take place between 10:30 and 12:30. The route will start and finish at the esplanade of the Infante D. Luis Palace, and wearing a helmet will be mandatory for all participants.
The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall has called for a new edition of Family Bicycle Day, which will be held on Sunday, 20th September between 10:30 and 12:30. The activity is open to all residents, and the starting and finishing point will be the esplanade of the Infante D. Luis Palace.
The route, which will run along the bike lane in various areas of the municipality, will pass through Avenida de España, Paseo de Madrid, Villaviciosa Road, Federico Moreno Torroba, Paseo de Saint Cloud, Manuel de Falla, Secundino Zuazo, Avenida Infante D. Luis, Parque Víctimas del Terrorismo (where there will be a refreshment point), Juan de la Cierva, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Isaac Peral, Francisco de Goya, Pablo Picasso, Sofía de Grecia, Bárbara de Braganza, Alberca, Pedro González, Mártires, and Avenida Adolfo Suárez, before returning to the esplanade of the Palace.
The organisation allows participants to join the march at any point along the route. Wearing a helmet will be mandatory for all participants.
At the end of the event, trophies will be awarded for the most original bicycle, the best costume, and the oldest participant. Gift packs will also be raffled among attendees.
