Boadilla Celebrates Its Patron Festivities from September 26 to October 18

Boadilla del Monte celebrates its patron festivities from September 26 to October 18 with concerts, bullfighting events, and family activities.

The opening speech by Fonsi Nieto on October 2 will kick off festivities featuring concerts by Loquillo, Siloé, and Álvaro de Luna, bullfighting events, and family activities at the Municipal Tent and the Nacedero Park.

Boadilla del Monte will celebrate its patron festivities from September 26 to October 18 with a programme that includes concerts, DJ sessions, bullfighting events, dance, theatre, and activities for all ages. The official opening speech will be given by Fonsi Nieto on October 2 at 20:30 in the Municipal Tent, followed by a fireworks display.

Music will be one of the main focuses. The Municipal Tent will host Siloé (October 1, 22:00), Loquillo (October 2, 23:00), Álvaro de Luna (October 3, 23:00), and a tribute to Fito y Fitipaldis (October 4, 22:00). Other performances in the tent will include Éxtasis, Rey Loui, the winner of the III Boadilla Sound contest, and Aura by Juan Peña with his show Afro House Experience.

This year, Nacedero Park will serve as the main space for young people aged 14 to 17. There, the Madness Party (October 2, from 21:00 to 23:45) will feature sessions by Julia Centeno, Alvama Ice, and Barce, and the Last Day Party (October 3, from 21:00 to 23:45) will include Mike Fajardo, Ballesteros, and Juan Valiente. Both events are free entry until capacity is reached.

The Municipal Tent will also host DJ sessions featuring Ardiya, El Pulpo, The Goos by Back DJ, Fonsi Nieto, Jorge Plané, and Nacho Vega. In the Plaza de la Cruz, the Orquesta Maremágnum, Jota Rumba's Band, Ana María la Pelirroja, Etiqueta Negra, Talents, and Cerrado por Vacaciones will perform, among others. On October 18 at 18:00, the Municipal Auditorium Raphael will host the concert of bullfighting pasodobles Oro, seda y pasodoble.

Dance will have a prominent place with the equestrian show Ítaca (September 27, 19:00, bullring), the Dance Schools Festival (October 1, 18:30, Plaza de la Cruz), the show Arraigo (October 10, 19:30, Auditorium Raphael), and Travelling the World through Dance (October 12, 19:00, Auditorium).

The bullfighting events will start with the novice bullfighting without picadors of the Certamen Camino hacia Las Ventas (September 26, 17:00). From October 2 to 5, there will be bull runs and releases, as well as a practical class with cattle for students from the bullfighting schools of the Community of Madrid (October 3, 18:00) and the Grand Contest of Recortes V Memorial Miguelón (October 4, 17:00). The youngest will be able to participate in the children's bullfighting, the children's bull runs with rubber bulls, the bull run with carts, and a children's practical class on recortes.

The family programme includes the scavenger hunt Play and Discover Your Historical Heritage at the Palace of Infante Don Luis (September 27), Family Day with Pequelandia and a children's decathlon (October 5), the musical The Chicken Pepe (October 4, 12:00, Municipal Tent), and Senior Day (September 27, from 12:00). For young people aged 18 to 30, the initiative Alcohol-Free Driving has been organised on October 1 and 3 at the Fairgrounds.

The cultural offer includes the plays The Awakened (September 26, 19:30), The Comedy of the Pot (October 5, 19:30), and the zarzuela The Tavern Keeper of the Port (October 17, 19:30), all at the Municipal Auditorium Raphael. The Teatro Princesa Doña Leonor will host the conference The Hispanic Genius by Fabrice Hadjadi on October 8 at 19:30.

In the sports section, the programme includes the veterans' football match of Boadilla against Arenas de San Pedro CF (September 26, 11:30), the Fishing Tournament VII Memorial Begoña Otero Hernández (September 27, 7:00 to 13:30, lake of Club Las Encinas), the III Ground Golf Meeting Virgen del Rosario (September 30, 10:00), The Great Boxing Night II (October 3, 18:00, Municipal Pavilion Rey Felipe VI), and the Vereda de los Guardias Race (October 18, 10:00).

The popular activities complete the programme with parades from the peñas, lemonade on October 2 and 3, and the XXII Horse Festival on October 3, among other proposals.
