The Atazar Reservoir Consortium has scheduled educational days on wellness tourism for October 2 and 3, 2026, as part of its Tourism Sustainability Plan. The main event will take place at the Museum of the Senses in Cervera de Buitrago, in the municipality of Puentes Viejas, with free participation but prior registration and limited spaces.

The programme for Friday, October 2, includes an initial talk on neuroscience and nature, a round table on “Eco-wellbeing,” and a sensory experiential activity in the Pinar de Casasola. For Saturday, October 3, an accessible and inclusive interpretative walk is planned along the Senda de la Dehesa del Soto.

Those interested can check the full programme and reserve a spot on the website embalsedelatazar.es. The event is organised by the Atazar Reservoir Consortium, in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Community of Madrid.

Accompanied by experts, we will discover how the natural environment benefits our physical and emotional health through a programme of talks, sensory activities, and hiking.

The activities are free, but space is limited, so it is recommended to register as soon as possible through the indicated website.
