The Boadilla del Monte Town Council has presented its autumn programme for young people, featuring free courses, championships, and outings. Registrations are done online.
The Town Council of Boadilla del Monte has organised an extensive programme of activities for young people that will run until the end of the year. Most of the proposals, which include courses, championships, outings, and leisure activities, will take place at the Casa de la Juventud and will be free of charge.
Registrations can be made through the website www.juventudboadilla.org. Some activities require participants to be registered in the municipality, while others have limited places or require prior registration.
The programme kicks off on 19 September with a free introductory DJ course, exclusive for residents, with limited places. On 26 September, a mus championship and a family cooking workshop called Boadilla chef will take place. Registrations for these three activities open on 7 September.
During the local festivities, the Fairgrounds will host the prevention campaign Noc-Turnos, aimed at those over 18 with a valid driving licence. The initiative will reward drivers who do not consume alcohol with fuel vouchers.
On 4 October, there will be a free outing to the Amusement Park, with transport included. Pre-registrations can be made from 21 to 24 September, and if demand exceeds places, a lottery will be held.
In October, introductory courses in magic (on the 14th, 21st, and 28th) and makeup (starting from 28 October) will be offered, along with a billiards championship on the 17th. For 31 October, coinciding with the Night of the Dead, the Carpa Joven 0,0º will be set up at the Fairgrounds, featuring a DJ session for young people aged 14 to 17, and a family Halloween characterisation workshop in the morning.
From November to April, a leisure and free time monitor course will be held, comprising 150 theoretical-practical hours and at least 120 hours of practical training. Only residents can register, between 1 and 12 October.
There will also be special activities such as an afternoon of new Play games (NBA 2K27 and EA Sports FC 27) on 7 November, a semi-acoustic concert on the 14th, climbing at the X Madrid Shopping Centre on 14 and 21 November, a short film creation course starting on 26 November, and a first aid course in December.
In December, highlights include ice skating at the La Nevera rink in Majadahonda (19 December, transport not included), a padel tournament at the Rey Felipe VI Sports Centre (20 December), a magic session with hot chocolate (23 December), and a special Christmas escape room (30 December). Tickets for these last three activities will be available at entradasboadilla.es from 14 December.
The Casa de la Juventud also offers legal, labour, and entrepreneurship advice every Wednesday from 7 October, from 18:00 to 20:00 hours. The complete brochure with all the programming is available at juventudboadilla.org.
