Punto Joven in Galapagar resumes its programming in October with Diverteca every Friday, a youth space Monday to Thursday afternoons, and special Halloween activities on October 30 and 31.
The Punto Joven in Galapagar resumes its activities in October with a programme aimed at children and young people of various ages, as reported by the Town Hall. The proposal includes workshops, tournaments, games, cinema, escape rooms, and special Halloween activities.
For the little ones, Diverteca will take place every Friday in October with a different proposal each week. On Friday, October 2, the theme will be A Journey Without Luggage; on Friday, October 9, Recycle Art; on Friday, October 16, Mini Olympics and Athletics; on Friday, October 23, The Great Pirate Booty; and on Friday, October 30, A Funny Halloween.
The youth programme includes Unplug, an open space from Monday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM throughout the month for playing and sharing time, with access to Play 5, Wii, foosball, ping-pong, and board games.
Throughout October, there will also be special activities. On Friday, October 2, Personalise Your Clothes will be a workshop for customising garments with textile paint and various materials. On Friday, October 9, Cluedo Influencers will propose investigating the disappearance of an influencer through clues and evidence.
The programme will continue with Healthy Toasts on Friday, October 16, a cooking and nutrition workshop; the Just Dance Tournament on Friday, October 23; and on Saturday, October 24, the Escape Room: The Night of the Laboratory, where participants will need to solve puzzles and find clues to overcome various challenges.
On Tuesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 29, the little ones can participate alongside an adult in Diverfamily: The Magic of Autumn, an experimental proposal with leaves, pine cones, chestnuts, autumn colours, and painting with natural elements.
The month will conclude with several Halloween-related activities. On Friday, October 30, Get Ready for Halloween will take place, featuring the creation of accessories and basic makeup techniques, while on Saturday, October 31, the Passage of Terror: Hotel Black Lake will be held, a proposal set in an enchanted hotel.
