The Tielmes-Valdilecha Community has organised two routes, a birdwatching walk and a volunteering day. All activities are free and suitable for all audiences.

The Tielmes-Valdilecha Services Community, as part of its environmental education programme, has presented a calendar of routes, walks, and volunteering actions that will take place between August and October. The activities are free and open to all, although children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

The first event will be on 21 August with a nature observation route through the Valdilecha Forest Park and the Barranco de la Cueva. The round trip covers a distance of 5 kilometres and is of easy difficulty, with an elevation gain of 109 metres. During the walk, attention will be paid to the songs, tracks, and signs of local wildlife.

The meeting point will be the recreational area of the forest park, next to the football field in Valdilecha. The activity will take place from 08:30 to 11:30 hours. Participants must bring their own binoculars, water, appropriate footwear, and clothing. Registration is done through an online form.

On 11 September, a second observation route will take place along the Vía Verde del Tajuña to the Azud de Vaciabotas. With a distance of 8 kilometres and easy difficulty, the departure will be at 18:00 hours from the parking lot of Bar La Piscina in Tielmes. The walk will be at a leisurely pace, with stops to observe and listen to nature.

On the same day, 11 September, the registration deadline for the volunteering day at La Chanta, a quarry in Corpa, will close. The activity, scheduled for 19 September from 09:00 to 13:30 hours, will allow participants to collaborate in the project’s tasks and learn about it firsthand. There are 30 places available, and pets are not allowed.

The programme will conclude on 3 October with a birdwatching walk along the Vía Verde de Tielmes. The route, 5 kilometres long and of easy difficulty, will start at 09:30 hours in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Tielmes. It is recommended to bring binoculars and, if desired, a camera.

For any questions or further information, interested parties can write to the community's email: mancomunidad.tielmes.valdilecha@gmail.com. All registrations are managed through online forms set up for each activity.
