Torres de la Alameda fills Saturday 19 with Pre-Festival activities including Color Run, magic and sports

On September 19, Torres de la Alameda hosts a Pre-Festival day with Color Run, mobile disco, magic, and competitions.

The municipality celebrates on Saturday, September 19, a Pre-Festival day with Color Run, mobile disco, magic, and competitions in pump track, petanque, and clay shooting. Registrations for the colour run close on September 16.

Torres de la Alameda celebrates on Saturday, September 19 a full day of Pre-Festival activities with children's events, live music, magic, and sports competitions spread across different areas of the municipality. The programme starts at 9:00 AM and continues until 7:00 PM.

The first event is the Petanque Championship of the Patron Saint Festivities, which begins at 9:00 AM in the Olof Palme Park. It is organised by the Petanque Club of Torres de la Alameda, and during the break, the book The Mind in the Circle, by player Toni Hernández, will be presented.

At 12:00 PM, the Color Run arrives, a colour run with inflatables and surprises. Registration costs 3 euros and includes water or a soft drink at the end. The deadline to sign up is September 16, and payment and collection of materials can be done one hour before at Federico García Lorca Street, behind the Fairgrounds. The organisation recommends protective glasses for children and those sensitive to dust. Organised by Rincón Joven, in collaboration with Peña Chula, El Vicio, Las Patronas, and Civil Protection of Torres de la Alameda.

Half an hour later, at 1:00 PM, the music continues outside the Fairgrounds with a mobile disco by DJ García, sponsored by Bar El Recín.

In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, the Pump Track of the Parque de la Alameda hosts the FreeXtrack Torres, a bicycle competition divided by age groups. The event starts with the children's categories and increases in intensity up to adults and veterans.

Also at 4:00 PM, the Clay Shooting Championship takes place at the El Plantío Shooting Range, with registrations starting half an hour before the event. It is organised by the Hunters Association of Torres and sponsored by El Pajar del Moral.

The family finale is provided by local magician Magoyo, who performs at 7:00 PM in the Parque de la Alameda with a show for all audiences.
