The Youth House of Velilla de San Antonio has presented its programme for October, which includes free psychological support, a workshop on fears regarding new beginnings, and a haunted passage, among other proposals.
The Youth House of Velilla de San Antonio has announced its activity programme for the month of October, an agenda that combines psychological support, family workshops, and youth leisure, with the haunted passage as one of the highlights of the month.
The psychological support will continue every Wednesday in October, on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, from 16:00 to 21:00 hours. The service is free, staffed by a professional, and aimed at young people up to 25 years old. Registrations can be made in person at the Youth House, by phone at 91 660 78 83, or by direct message on social media. The organisation reminds that it is a highly demanded resource, so it is necessary to confirm attendance for each appointment and, in case of changes, to request it 48 hours in advance; absences due to force majeure must be justified. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the loss of the spot.
For families with children over 12 years old, the workshop “Fears Regarding New Beginnings” has been organised for Thursday, 22nd October, from 18:00 to 20:00 hours. The activity is free and registrations are open until Friday, 16th October through an online form.
The Youth Space will maintain its activities on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 18:00 to 22:00 hours, with workshops, dynamics, and volunteering sessions for those over 12 years old. The programme includes Open Space sessions on Fridays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, and Saturdays 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at 20:00 hours, in addition to the workshops for preparing the haunted passage that will be held on various dates starting from 9th October.
The preparation workshop for the “Haunted Passage” is aimed at young people interested in acting and the arts. Registrations will remain open until 9th October via a form. The preparation sessions will take place on the days 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 29th of October in the afternoons, and the general rehearsal will be held on Friday, 30th.
The Haunted Passage itself will take place on Saturday, 31st October from 20:00 to 00:00 hours, with two sessions. The first, from 20:00 to 21:00 hours, will be reserved for young people aged 12 to 14, who must be accompanied by an adult; the second, from 21:30 to 00:00 hours, will be for ages 14 to 22 primarily. The activity is free, but it is necessary to be a member of La Juven and collect an invitation from Friday, 16th October until capacity is reached. Those aged 12 to 14 are advised to attend with an adult.
Psychological support is a free space that is highly demanded by all residents, so it will be necessary for you to take advantage of it and value it. Not complying with the commitment rules will result in the loss of the spot.
Additionally, the StarUp – Volunteering with Future programme will begin its journey on Friday, 16th October at 18:00 hours with an initial meeting, and on Friday, 23rd at the same time, an intervention session will be held. These activities are part of the volunteering proposals for young people in the municipality.
