A partnership since 1978

Aranjuez and Le Pecq have maintained their partnership since 1978. Over these 48 years, there have been institutional, community, associative, educational, sports, cultural exchanges, and interactions between municipal employees from both towns.

The continuity of these ties is supported by the work of the friendship associations from both cities, which promote meetings between families and residents and organise activities to showcase the culture and traditions of each locality. In Aranjuez, this work is carried out by the Friends of Le Pecq Association.

In the official invitation sent for the visit, the mayor of Le Pecq expressed to Miguel Gómez her satisfaction with this first meeting and her willingness to continue strengthening a relationship based on friendship, trust, and the shared commitment of both municipalities.
