The councils of both municipalities have given the green light to an agreement to coordinate resources and means in terms of security. The agreement is now entering its processing phase and requires approval from the Community of Madrid and the Ministry of the Interior.
The town halls of Hoyo de Manzanares and Torrelodones have approved a joint collaboration agreement on security in their respective councils. The initiative was promoted by both governing teams to optimise available resources and improve service delivery to residents.
The text received the approval of both councils and is now entering its administrative processing. This phase requires the approval of the Community of Madrid and the Ministry of the Interior, according to the two town halls.
The collaboration will allow for a more efficient use of the resources and means of the security forces in both localities. It will also facilitate better planning of services and a greater capacity to respond to situations requiring coordination and mutual support between both municipalities.
With this step, Hoyo de Manzanares and Torrelodones are advancing in inter-municipal cooperation on security and the optimisation of public resources. The agreement will not be operational until the processing is completed and the regional and state authorisations are received.
