The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall has completed improvement works at eight educational centres, with an investment of nearly €600,000.
The Town Hall of Boadilla del Monte has finished the improvement works at the municipality's educational centres, investing €598,880.47. The works have been carried out at the schools Federico García Lorca, Teresa Berganza, José Bergamín, and Ágora, at CEIPSO Príncipe D. Felipe, and at the nurseries Romanillos, Achalay, and Tákara.
The works included the renovation of family service areas and offices, the installation of pergolas to create shaded areas, and the replacement of awnings. Flooring has also been changed, patios improved, and measures taken to enhance accessibility, along with painting and improvements in carpentry and locksmithing.
In terms of energy efficiency, boilers have been replaced and thermostatic valves installed. Additionally, both interior and exterior furniture has been renewed, bathrooms have been reformed and updated, and safety has been reinforced with anti-pinch systems and the renewal of continuous rubber flooring.
The works are part of the maintenance and improvement plan for educational centres that the council carries out every summer, taking advantage of the period without teaching activities to minimise disruptions to the educational community.
