The Palacio de la Sagra will host three free workshops for women with entrepreneurial aspirations in September, limited to 20 participants.

The Chapinería City Council, in collaboration with the Women’s Foundation, has organised an Entrepreneurship Programme aimed at women who have a business idea, want to give a new direction to an already initiated project, or consider entrepreneurship as an employment alternative.

The training will take place over three days, from September 21 to 23, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the Palacio de la Sagra in Chapinería, located at 21 Prudencio Melo Street (CAPI Multipurpose Classroom).

The programme includes three thematic workshops: on September 21, the design of the business idea will be addressed, including SWOT analysis and the CANVAS model; on September 22, basic finances, funding and resources, including financial planning, budgets, treasury, microcredits, grants, and subsidies; and on September 23, tax and fiscal management, with information on registering as a sole trader and the taxes affecting the activity, such as income tax and VAT.

The programme has a maximum of 20 places and is aimed at women residing in the Community of Madrid who hold a valid DNI or NIE in Spain. To participate, registration for all three workshops is required.

Interested individuals can obtain more information and formalise their registration through the Women’s Foundation website.
