The Town Hall of Campo Real is organising the 'manso's droppings' contest on September 20, with tickets priced at €3 and part of the money going to Cáritas.
Campo Real will host a new edition of the 'manso's droppings' on September 20, a contest that combines tradition, chance, and solidarity. The Town Hall has published the rules, which include a maximum prize of €1,800 if all the plots are sold.
The process is simple: the arena is divided into 900 numbered plots from 001 to 900, each priced at €3. Of that amount, €2 goes to the winner and €1 to Cáritas, making the event clearly charitable.
On the day of the event, a manso will be released into the arena and must relieve itself within a maximum of 20 minutes. The plot where the first dropping falls will be the winner, regardless of the volume. If it falls exactly on the line that separates two plots, the volume will be measured and the one with the greater amount will win; in case of a tie, the prize will be shared.
If the manso does not relieve itself in the stipulated time or does so while returning to the pens, a manual draw will take place. The winning number will be announced online and displayed in a visible location in the municipality.
The winner must present the winning ticket in person within a maximum of 15 calendar days. If the prize is not claimed within two months of the event, it will be considered forfeited and the Town Hall will manage the money as it sees fit.
Tickets will be sold in sequential order starting from number 001. Interested parties can consult the complete rules on the municipal website or at the Campo Real Town Hall.
