The EcoPioneras Employment Training Programme starts on October 13 with two online sessions each week in the morning. It is aimed at unemployed women or those with precarious contracts from municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.
Women in Chapinería who are unemployed or have precarious contracts can register for the EcoPioneras Employment Training Project, a free initiative for training and job support that begins on October 13. The programme is promoted by the Santa María la Real Foundation and funded by the Department of Family, Youth and Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid.
The main requirement is to reside in municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants in the Community of Madrid, such as Chapinería. The sessions are conducted online, with two meetings each week in the morning, to facilitate participation from the municipality itself.
The programme focuses on three areas: improving employability opportunities, enhancing digital skills, and developing green skills aimed at sustainable sectors with new professional pathways.
An opportunity to continue learning, strengthen capabilities, and approach the new possibilities offered by the job market linked to the green and sustainable economy," state the Chapinería Town Hall.
Registration is done through an online form provided by the organisation. The Chapinería Town Hall encourages spreading the initiative among local women who meet the requirements.
