The Chapinería Town Hall has obtained a grant of €188,966.88 to launch the Public Employment-Training Programme for Professional Activation, an initiative that will allow the incorporation of 10 people into various municipal job positions.
The funding is granted under the Order of 8 May 2023 and the Order of 23 December 2025, both from the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, and is resolved through the Order of 9 April 2026, from the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment.
The subsidised positions are varied. They will hire 1 early childhood educator, 2 gardeners, 2 painters, 2 builders, 2 people for building cleaning, and 1 locksmith.
The programme aims for a dual objective: on one hand, to strengthen the municipal services of Chapinería during its development; on the other, to offer participants a real opportunity for training and professional activation, thereby improving their future options in the job market.
The town hall emphasises that this action is part of the employment support programmes promoted by the Community of Madrid, and that the amount received will cover the salary and training costs associated with the positions.
