The Town Hall of Cobeña has illuminated the Town Hall in blue and pink on World Gestational, Neonatal and Perinatal Mourning Day.
The facade of the Town Hall of Cobeña was lit up in blue and pink throughout the night. The Town Hall of Cobeña did this to mark the World Gestational, Neonatal and Perinatal Mourning Day, which is commemorated every October 15.
According to the council, the lighting aims to break the taboo surrounding these losses and to give public recognition to families who lose a child during pregnancy or in the first days of life.
The municipal government expresses its support for parents and family members going through this mourning process. The gesture, according to the Town Hall itself, is part of international visibility campaigns and forms part of its commitment to the emotional support of residents.
The council also thanks DJ Luke for his selfless collaboration in the event.
