The Colmenarejo City Council has incorporated 14 new professionals to strengthen municipal services, thanks to a grant from the Community of Madrid under the Professional Activation Programme. The contracts will last for eight months.

The new hires are distributed across various areas of the council: 4 administrative staff, 2 caretakers, 1 driver, 1 communications technician, 1 urban guard, 1 maintenance and conservation worker, and 4 officials for the Works Brigade.

According to the City Council, these reinforcements will improve the attention and services provided to residents, while also promoting employment in the municipality. The initiative is part of the regional professional activation programme, which aims to facilitate job insertion.

With this measure, the council hopes to strengthen municipal teams and respond to the needs of citizens in areas such as administration, maintenance, or urban security. The new workers have already begun to perform their duties.
