Since this Monday, August 10, the bus stops at the Sports Centre of Colmenarejo (12374 and 12375) have been moved about 50 metres to Gregorio Peces-Barba Avenue to improve accessibility.
Public transport users in Colmenarejo now have a new waiting point in the Sports Centre area as of this Monday, August 10. Stops 12374 and 12375, which were previously located next to the roundabout, have been taken out of service and relocated to Gregorio Peces-Barba Avenue, past the roundabout towards Carlos III University, about 50 metres from their previous location.
The measure, promoted by the Colmenarejo Town Hall, affects lines 631, 633 and N904, which will now stop in both directions at the new locations. The change does not involve modifications to schedules or routes, only the exact point for boarding and alighting passengers.
According to the town council, the relocation aims to improve accessibility for people with reduced mobility and provide better waiting conditions for travellers. The old stops, located at the roundabout, presented access difficulties and less space for users.
The Town Hall advises residents who use these lines to head directly to the new location to avoid unnecessary waits. Gregorio Peces-Barba Avenue is a main road in the municipality, and the new stops are signposted to facilitate their identification.
