The Ricardo León Library and the Cultural Centre La Pocilla in Galapagar return to their regular hours starting from 1 September, with occasional adjustments for the Patron Saint Festivities.
1 September marks the return to normality in municipal services in Galapagar after the summer. The Municipal Library Ricardo León resumes its usual hours from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00, although with differences depending on the room.
The general lending room will be open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00. The study room maintains the general schedule. The children's and youth rooms, until the school year begins, will open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00, and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00.
Once the school year has started, the hours for these rooms will be reduced: from Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 21:00, Wednesdays also from 11:00 to 14:00, and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00. If the children's or youth rooms are closed, the library offers assistance in the general lending room and access to its collections when needed.
The library will be closed on Monday 14 September, due to the Day of the Patron.
The Cultural Centre La Pocilla will maintain its usual hours from 1 to 9 September, from 9:00 to 21:00 without interruption. During the Patron Saint Festivities, on 10 and 11 September, it will only open in the morning, from 9:00 to 14:00. On Monday 14 September, a local holiday, it will remain closed all day.
For its part, the Galapagar Town Hall has suspended citizen service in the afternoon until Tuesday 15 September. During this period, assistance will only be provided in the morning.
