The Getafe City Council has opened the pre-registration period for the Activity Offer in Neighbourhoods for the 2026-2027 course, with new features such as the Los Molinos Social Centre and the Muralism and Urban Art course.
The Getafe City Council has launched the Offer of Activities and Municipal Workshops for the 2026-2027 course, which will take place in all neighbourhoods of the city. Pre-registration for activities in civic centres will be open from 7 to 15 September, both in person and through the website ocio.getafe.es.
Among the most requested proposals are those related to physical fitness, crafts, and various dance styles. This year, new activities are being introduced at the Social Centre in the Los Molinos neighbourhood, which will complement those already offered at the Miguel de Cervantes school, and the Muralism and Urban Art course will also debut in Juan de la Cierva.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation and Action in Neighbourhoods, Ana Isabel González, stated that “each centre, each activity are spaces for coexistence and promoting citizen participation.” She added that the launch in Los Molinos demonstrates the City Council's commitment to “bringing life to the facilities in all the neighbourhoods of Getafe.”
The 17 September will see the draw for places, and the final lists will be published the following day. Those who secure a place will be able to formalise their registration between 21 and 29 September; from 1 October, online registrations will open for waiting lists and classes with available spots.
The digital bulletin with all the information, instructions, and dates for each activity is available on the municipal website getafe.es.
