The Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra is open until September 21 for the registration of wood lot allocations. Applicants must visit the town hall and pay a deposit of 60 euros.

Residents of Horcajuelo de la Sierra who wish to apply for a wood lot from the traditional 'wood lottery' have until September 21 to submit their application. The process takes place at the municipal town hall and requires the prior payment of a deposit of 60 euros.

The allocation consists of a specific plot or wooded area that each beneficiary must work on independently. Tasks include the felling of authorized trees in the assigned area, clearing accumulated undergrowth, and removing the resulting plant debris and firewood.

The operational effort and subsequent transportation of the wood to the private residence are the sole responsibility of the awardees, who must use their own means. This system thus ensures the supply of locally sourced fuel for the season.

The registration period will remain active until September 21

Those interested must visit the municipal offices of Horcajuelo de la Sierra before that date to formalize their application and pay the deposit.
