The Community of Madrid will completely close the M-141 road between km 0 and 7.8 for two weeks, during daytime hours from 8:00 to 20:00, to rehabilitate the surface. The work begins on Monday, 28 September, and will directly affect access to Horcajuelo de la Sierra.
The General Directorate of Roads of the Community of Madrid has announced the execution of rehabilitation works on the M-141 road, in the section from km point 0+000 to 7+800. The intervention will require a complete closure of traffic on this road.
The works will take place from Monday to Friday and will start on 28 September 2026, with an estimated duration of two weeks. The total closure will be applied during daytime hours, between 08:00 and 20:00.
During these hours, corresponding temporary signage will be installed, and there will be signallers responsible for regulating traffic and informing drivers about detours and affected sections.
The action is awarded to the company UTE Mantenimiento Firmes Lote 2, as part of the road maintenance contract of the Community of Madrid. The aim is to improve the driving conditions of the roadway.
The General Directorate of Roads recommends that drivers plan their journeys in advance and use the proposed alternative routes. The affected section is the main access road to Horcajuelo de la Sierra, so residents and visitors travelling through the area will need to adjust their schedules or seek alternative routes during the two weeks of work.
