The Móstoles City Council has released a series of recommendations for the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities, with specific guidelines for fireworks and concerts. Among them, maintaining a distance of 100 metres from the pyrotechnic display and not entering venues with glass containers.
The Móstoles City Council has published a series of recommendations to ensure that residents and visitors can enjoy the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities safely. The guidelines cover fireworks, concerts, and coexistence in festive venues.
For the fireworks, the Council advises arriving at least 30 minutes in advance, respecting barriers and safety distances, and following the instructions of security personnel. The recommended distance to view the display is a minimum of 100 metres.
If any pyrotechnic component falls to the ground without exploding, it should not be touched or handled: security personnel should be notified. In case ashes enter the eyes, it is recommended to rinse them with plenty of water and avoid rubbing. Families with children should arrive early to position themselves near the barriers and should not bring babies in strollers.
During concerts, the City Council asks to keep personal belongings monitored and reminds that it is prohibited to enter the venue with glass containers. In case of discomfort, an injury, fainting, or a syncope, it is important to remain calm and seek assistance from medical personnel or the Municipal Police; if necessary, one can call 112.
If a fight or dispute occurs that cannot be safely controlled, the recommendation is not to intervene and to notify the Municipal Police via 092.
The Patron Saint Festivities should be a space of respect, coexistence, and fun for everyone.
The Council urges treating all individuals with respect, avoiding fights, insults, exclusions, and any physical or verbal aggression, as well as respecting the privacy and relationships of others.
As a preventive measure and for information, on the 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th of September, there will be information points for gender violence at the Finca Liana Park, open from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
The Guide for Safe Festivities is available on the municipal website (mostoles.es).
