The Valdemorillo Town Hall centralises the request for item collection and incident management in the eAgora application. The Línea Verde app will no longer be used for these procedures from October 1.
Residents of Valdemorillo who need to dispose of old furniture, appliances or bulky items will have to do so through a single application: eAgora. The Town Hall has decided to concentrate the request for the collection of this type of waste and the communication of incidents in the municipality on this platform. The change will take effect on October 1, the date on which the Línea Verde application will stop managing both services.
The measure affects two everyday procedures for residents. On one hand, the request for the removal of items, bulky and small appliances. On the other, the notification of damages or problems on public roads and other municipal spaces. From October, eAgora will be the exclusive channel for both.
The mayor, Santiago Villena, explained that this decision is part of the Town Hall's digitalisation strategy.
This measure responds to the strategic line of an innovative and disruptive municipality, which aspires to be a benchmark in innovation and digitalisation
The mayor also pointed out that the aim is to prevent residents from having to use multiple applications to interact with the local administration.
We want residents to have their entire Town Hall in their hands, without having to jump from one application to another. The experience with eAgora in areas such as Sports has been a success, and now we are taking a further step by unifying incidents and item collection within it
To request item collection from eAgora, the process is reduced to three steps: enter the application, click on the “Waste Management” section, and select the corresponding area. The service is organised by zones and collection days, information that can be consulted in the app itself.
The application is available for free download on mobile devices. The Town Hall recommends installing it before October 1 to continue requesting item removal and reporting incidents normally.
