The Las Rozas Town Council has prepared an environmental education programme for the months of September to December, with free activities for all ages. The Family Planting Day will be held in Las Matas on October 24.
The Las Rozas Town Council, through the Environment department led by Jaime Santamarta, has launched the Autumn Environmental Education Programme, which will run from September to December with free activities for all ages. The initiative aims to promote learning, education in values, and respect for the environment through play and experimentation.
The programme includes guided tours, workshops, and events. The highlight is the Family Planting Day, which will take place in Las Matas on October 24.
Additionally, the section aimed at the Eco-schools in the municipality includes annual and quarterly projects, events, workshops, and other activities at the La Talaverona Environmental Centre. The goal is to engage the educational community in initiatives that raise awareness about the need to protect the natural environment of Las Rozas.
