The municipality will host the XIX edition of its Wine Fair on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of October in the caves of La Torreta. The programme includes grape stomping, blind tastings, an artisan market, and a popular closing queimada.
El Molar will celebrate the XIX edition of its Wine Fair on October 2, 3, and 4 in the caves excavated in the hill of La Torreta, a historic space where wine has been preserved in natural conditions for centuries. The municipality belongs to the 4th Subzone of the Denomination of Origin Wines of Madrid.
The event will kick off on Friday, October 2 at 19:00 with an inauguration featuring dulzaina music and a speech by the mayor, Borja Díaz, accompanied by Carlos Mazo as the guest speaker. After the ceremony, attendees will be able to participate in a tasting of local tapas and wine, followed by a dulzaina parade through the wineries and the market.
On Saturday, October 3, the day will include guided tours of the caves, the traditional grape stomping in one of the ancient caves, blind tasting competitions, and pairings with rosé wine. There will be live music and children's activities with traditional games and storytelling.
On Sunday, October 4, children will have the opportunity to participate in the children's grape stomping, while adults will enjoy the porrón competition and gastronomic experiences. Local wineries will offer tastings of sweets and wines. The fair will conclude with a closing event in the Plaza del Privilegio, accompanied by dulzaina music and a popular queimada.
Throughout the weekend, there will be an artisan market, and visitors can explore the harvest exhibition, the MolArte painting exhibition, and the photography contest “Between Grapes and Wines”. The organisation, led by the El Molar Town Hall, hopes to surpass the 5,000 attendees from previous editions.

The activities will take place in the caves of La Torreta, a site that combines wineries, restaurants, and cultural spaces. The fair will be held from October 2 to 4; the inauguration will be on Friday at 19:00.
