The Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias Town Hall is promoting the creation of a local Civil Protection group and has opened the call for volunteers.

The Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias Town Hall has launched a campaign to recruit volunteers who wish to be part of a future Civil Protection group in the municipality. The initiative aims to create a local team of committed individuals who will collaborate in emergencies, prevention, support at events, and other actions directed towards the residents.

Interested individuals must meet a series of requirements: be at least 18 years old, be Spanish or have a residence permit, reside in the municipality or in the Community of Madrid, and hold a minimum qualification of a secondary education diploma or equivalent. Additionally, they must have no criminal record, not be disqualified, present a negative certificate for sexual offences, and possess the physical and mental fitness for the tasks.

The training will be provided by Civil Protection, and it will be necessary to prove the requirements before taking the course. Interested individuals must submit a general application, either online through the Electronic Headquarters or in person at the Town Hall, indicating their interest in joining the group and providing their contact details.

The council indicates that once there are enough interested individuals, they will be able to proceed with the establishment of the group. The protection of the municipality is also built with residents who decide to step forward, municipal sources highlight.

This call represents an opportunity for the citizens of Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias to actively engage in the safety and well-being of their community. The deadline for submitting applications is open and no specific end date has been set, according to information provided by the Town Hall.
