The centre operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, in a space at the senior residence. Registration is done at the Town Hall or online and provides access to activities with a social animator and an occupational therapist.
The Social Centre for the Care of Elderly People in Miraflores de la Sierra is now operational for residents aged 60 years and over. The space occupies a large area of the municipality's senior residence and opens from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, except on holidays.
The activity programme is led by a social animator and an occupational therapist. According to the Town Hall, the centre aims to promote the well-being, coexistence, and participation of elderly people, as well as to encourage active ageing and strengthen their personal autonomy.
To register, one must physically register at the Town Hall of Miraflores de la Sierra or through the online platform. Once the process is completed, the centre staff will contact the applicant to arrange an interview.
If a place is confirmed, users can choose from several assistance options: a full month or vouchers for 10 or 5 days, valid for three months.
