CEIPS Vicente Aleixandre in Miraflores de la Sierra expands its playground hours with the Patios Abiertos programme. Applications will be accepted from August 26 to 30.

Families in Miraflores de la Sierra who need to reconcile can apply from August 26 for a place in the Patios Abiertos 2026/2027 programme, which extends the playground hours at CEIPS Vicente Aleixandre. The application deadline is August 30.

The programme, which is free of charge, offers two time slots depending on the time of year. In September and June, the playground will open from 15:00 to 16:00, while from May to October, the hours extend from 16:00 to 17:00.

The free service is conditional on meeting one of the requirements set by the Miraflores de la Sierra Town Hall. Official accreditation of work reconciliation needs or being a beneficiary of the Minimum Insertion Income (RMI) or the Minimum Vital Income (IMV) is required.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that the requirements and priorities set out in the application form are met. The Town Hall warns that there are significant changes in the registration and allocation process compared to previous editions.

The registration form, available on the municipal website, must be submitted in paper form at the Espacio MMJ, located at Paseo de los Álamos 4, between 18:00 and 21:00. The form can also be downloaded online.

From August 31, the Town Hall will communicate via email whether the application has been accepted, after assessing the documentation, justification of need, and order of arrival. Interested families should prepare the supporting documentation in advance to avoid delays.
