The 'Las Vegas' Consortium opens a free job guidance service and workshops for residents of Morata de Tajuña, Ciempozuelos, Chinchón, San Martín de la Vega, Titulcia, and Villaconejos. It starts on September 21 and will last until December.
Women registered in Morata de Tajuña, Ciempozuelos, Chinchón, San Martín de la Vega, Titulcia, and Villaconejos who are seeking employment can now register for the new Employment Support Service for Equality launched by the Intermunicipal Consortium of Social Services 'Las Vegas'. The programme is free, has limited places, and will run from September 21 to December.
The service combines two approaches. On one hand, each participant will have an initial interview with a job guidance professional, based on which a personalised employment pathway will be designed according to their experience, training, and availability. On the other hand, in-person workshops will be held across the six municipalities of the consortium.
The workshops will cover five areas: CV preparation and active job search; job interview techniques; time management and shared responsibility; leadership and access to positions of responsibility; and entrepreneurship and business creation. Each municipality will host one edition of each workshop, always on the same day of the week, so participants can plan ahead. Specific dates will be announced soon through the town halls.
Participation is free and places are limited,” the consortium informs.
Registration is done by emailing the address provided by the entity. Women registered in any of the six municipalities who are looking for work can participate.
The programme is part of the Programme for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities between Women and Men and is co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 and by the Community of Madrid. Its execution has been awarded to INTEGRA 7 Consultoría y Desarrollo, S.L.
Interested parties must email the address indicated by the consortium to reserve a place before they run out, as capacity is limited and the programme starts on September 21.
