The Móstoles City Council has established a new Youth Space at CEIP Maruja Mallo, serving the Móstoles Sur District. With this opening, all six districts of the municipality now offer free activities for young people aged 12 to 17 on Saturdays.

The Móstoles City Council has added a new Youth Space at CEIP Maruja Mallo, completing the network of these services across its six districts. The new space caters to the Móstoles Sur District and joins the existing ones at CEIP Miguel Delibes, IES Manuel de Falla, CEIP Príncipe de Asturias, CEIP Severo Ochoa, and IES Gabriel Cisneros (Parque Coimbra).

The initiative, promoted by the Department of Youth, Family, Equality and Cooperation, is aimed at young people aged 12 to 17, who can participate in free workshops, tournaments, and leisure activities. The sessions are held on Saturdays from 17:00 to 20:00.

To participate, one only needs to fill out a form available via a QR code or on the municipal website mostolesjoven.es. The programming for each Saturday varies by location.

On Saturday, September 19, all six spaces will host board games and the creation of a “Money’s Bag” from fabric at Miguel Delibes; a badminton and ping pong tournament and a Slime workshop at Falla; an impossible search and a “Ball Conquest” at Maruja Mallo; The Great Search and recreate the figure at Príncipe de Asturias; the game “Ball Save” and a bookmark workshop at Severo Ochoa; and rugby tape and karaoke at Coimbra.

On Saturday, September 26, the proposals include Futgolf and create your tic-tac-toe at Miguel Delibes; a Time’s up and Just Dance at Falla; 3x3 Balls and the dynamic “Choosing is up to me” at Maruja Mallo; Extreme Hide and Seek and create your bracelet at Príncipe de Asturias; Twister and a paper folding workshop at Severo Ochoa; and Futbéisbol and a collage workshop at Coimbra.

The programming also includes escape rooms and board games on different Saturdays, according to the City Council. The registration form remains open for upcoming sessions in all six spaces.
