The Móstoles City Council has intensified the cleaning and maintenance plan for parks and green areas, with actions in six spaces in the city.

The Móstoles City Council, through the Department of Security, Emergencies, and the Environment, has launched an intensive cleaning and maintenance plan for the parks and green areas of the city. The work, which is taking place this week, includes general cleaning, clearing, branch pruning, grass mowing, and shrub trimming.

The actions focus on the Linear Park of the Planets, the Linear Park of Arroyo del Soto, the park on Siete Picos Street, the International Brigades Park, the Asturias Park, and several areas of PAU-4. The aim is for the residents of Móstoles to enjoy these spaces in the best conditions.

According to municipal sources, the clearing and pruning work is a priority in the areas with the highest foot traffic, such as the linear parks, where vegetation grows rapidly in summer. Special attention has also been given to playgrounds and walking areas.

With this initiative, the council aims to improve the maintenance of public spaces and ensure that residents find clean and well-kept parks. The work will extend to other parts of the city in the coming weeks.

The plan is part of the usual campaign for the conservation of green areas, which is reinforced during the summer months to combat the effects of drought and the accelerated growth of weeds. The responsible department has requested citizen collaboration to keep the spaces in good condition.
