The Town Hall of Redueña has marked a meeting point on the livestock path of the Camino de Torrelaguna, between Redueña and Cabanillas de la Sierra, to view the eclipse this afternoon starting at 19:00.

Redueña has prepared an observation point for the eclipse this afternoon, which will be located at the entrance of the livestock path of the Camino de Torrelaguna, between Redueña and Cabanillas de la Sierra. The location, marked with a red pin on a map distributed by the Town Hall, will be accessible from 19:00 hours.

To locate it, the council indicates to look for the “Vía Pecuaria” sign that appears in a photograph published alongside the notice. At the meeting point, approved glasses will be provided to those who do not have them, until supplies run out.

Viewing the eclipse should only be done with appropriate eye protection. Looking directly at the Sun without approved glasses can cause serious eye damage, the Town Hall reminds, insisting that the phenomenon should not be observed at any time without this protection.

The viewing will take place in a natural setting and livestock path, so attendees are asked to respect the space, not leave waste, and keep it as they find it.

The Town Hall of Redueña clarifies that they are only providing information about the observation point and are not organising or promoting the activity. Attendance is voluntary and under the responsibility of each participant, who must take the necessary precautions for both solar observation and for transit and stay in the natural environment.
