The Tres Cantos City Council has made public the final resolution of aid for those affected by the fire on August 11, 2025. Owners of damaged homes and plots can now consult the official list.
The Tres Cantos City Council published this Wednesday the final resolution of the financial aid aimed at those affected by the fire that damaged homes and plots in the municipality on August 11, 2025. The document, available on the electronic headquarters, concludes the process initiated with the provisional resolution of June 10.
The aid is directed to the owners of homes and plots in urban land that suffered damage due to the fire. To access it, applicants must be up to date with their tax obligations with the Tax Agency, Social Security, and the City Council itself, as well as not having pending reimbursements for previous subsidies.
The amounts vary according to the type of damage: 500 euros for damage to trees, 1,000 euros for perimeter fencing, 2,000 euros for facade elements, 3,000 euros for damage to any room (interior or porch), and 15,000 euros in the case of total destruction of the home. Those applying for aid for total destruction cannot combine it with other compensations for partial damages.
The total budget for the call amounts to 100,000 euros. If the sum of the approved applications exceeds this amount, the aid will be prorated downwards among all beneficiaries, as warned by the City Council in the regulations.
Interested parties can consult the final resolution on the municipal website and submit their applications only through the electronic headquarters, filling out the 'Aid for fire-affected' form in the Aid and Subsidies section. The submission period, which is already open, ends on January 31, 2026.
Among the required documentation is a photographic report of the damages and certificates of being up to date with the Tax Agency and Social Security, all in PDF format. The City Council reminds that photographs of documents are not accepted.
