The municipal pool of Perales de Tajuña will suspend its activities for several days this week due to maintenance works, as reported by the Town Hall in a statement. The works will affect both the main pool and the bathing areas and changing rooms.
The extraordinary closures will occur on August 12, 13, and 14, from 10:00 to 20:00, coinciding with the peak bathing season. The measure aims to ensure the safety and proper condition of the facilities, municipal sources explain.
During these three days, the lifeguard and surveillance service will remain operational, but access to the premises will be restricted to authorised personnel. The Town Hall recommends that residents plan their visits on other dates to avoid inconvenience.
This action is part of the annual conservation plan for municipal sports facilities, which has already included improvements in other areas such as the sports centre. The works will consist of reviewing the filtration systems and deep cleaning of the pools.
