The Town Hall of Torres de la Alameda resumes activities for seniors: gerontogymnastics starts on Tuesday 15th September at the Municipal Sports Centre and memory workshops will begin on 1st October at the Seniors' Centre.
Senior residents of Torres de la Alameda will regain their routine of activities starting next week. Gerontogymnastics returns to class on Tuesday 15th September at the Municipal Sports Pavilion, with sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The Town Hall has organised two groups based on the schedule: one from 9:00 to 10:00 hours and another from 10:00 to 11:00 hours. If demand requires it, the council is considering opening a third group to accommodate more participants.
The Memory Workshop will start later, on 1st October, and will be held at the Seniors' Centre. There will be two groups, both on Thursdays: the first from 10:30 to 11:30 hours and the second from 11:30 to 12:30 hours.
These workshops include dynamics and playful activities to keep skills such as attention, concentration, reading, and calculation active.
Those interested in participating must attend on the first day of the workshop during their class time to formalise their registration. Complete information about the registration period for gerontogymnastics is available on the municipal website.
