The roundabout of Cánovas del Castillo with Torrelaguna and Daoiz and Velarde street will have traffic restrictions from August 31 due to sanitation renewal.
The renovation works of the sanitation network on Daoiz and Velarde street will force traffic cuts on several roads in Alcalá de Henares starting from August 31. The roundabout of Cánovas del Castillo street with Torrelaguna street will be closed to traffic while the works are carried out to connect the network with both streets.
During the closure, diversions will be set up in the area and the usual bus routes will be modified. The works will also occasionally affect the roundabout of Luis Astrana Marín.
Additionally, between Tuesday 1 and Friday 4 September, parking will be prohibited and traffic will be cut on Daoiz and Velarde street to carry out milling, asphalting, and painting of the road.
The Local Police recommends following the indications of the officers, using alternative routes, and driving with caution in the area. These restrictions will affect the daily lives of residents passing through the area, especially drivers and public transport users.
Apologies are offered for the inconvenience, and gratitude is expressed for the understanding and cooperation during the execution of the works.
