Cerceda Local Police has announced traffic and parking restrictions from August 27 to 31 for the Cristo de la Esperanza festivities, affecting several streets and the fairground.
Cerceda Local Police has published the mobility plan for the summer festivities in honour of the Christ of Hope, which will take place from Thursday, August 27 to Monday, August 31, 2026. The street closures and parking prohibitions will affect several roads in the municipality, particularly around Avenida de Los Canteros and Calle de Portada.
On Avenida de Los Canteros, there will be temporary closures starting from 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 27 for sports events, and during the mornings from August 28 to 31 for the bull runs and children's activities. Additionally, parking will be prohibited along the bull run route on August 29 and 30 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The same avenue, at number 12, next to the Civil Guard post and Selles street, will have night closures from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Thursday 27, Sunday 30, and Monday 31, and until 6:00 AM on Friday 28 and Saturday 29.
Calle Becerril will remain closed to traffic and parking from Thursday 27 to Tuesday, September 1, in the section between Avenida de Los Canteros and Calle Damas, for sports tests and emergency vehicle reservations. During this period, a temporary two-way traffic system may be established on Calle Damas up to Calle Toreros for residents.
On Calle de Portada, parking will be prohibited from August 27 to September 1 due to the setup of stalls. Traffic will be restricted during the day due to events in the square, and there will be a permanent night closure due to pedestrianisation from Plaza Mayor to the fairground.
Calle Prado Serrano will have a permanent closure, except for residents, between Calle Portada and Calle María Zambrano. To facilitate mobility, the section of Calle María Zambrano between Prado Serrano and Calle Antonio Machado will be opened to two-way traffic.
The public parking on Calle Colmenar, known as Aparcamiento de la Morera, will not be available from Tuesday, August 25 to Tuesday, September 1 due to the installation of the fair and attractions.
