The Ciempozuelos Town Hall launches the responsible declaration to streamline urban management and activities. Residents can submit it online from the electronic headquarters.
The Ciempozuelos Town Hall has activated the responsible declaration as a way to expedite the most common municipal procedures. The measure, now operational, allows residents to initiate files for minor works, opening establishments, or activities without waiting for prior authorisation.
According to municipal sources, the new system reduces waiting times by eliminating the prior licence in cases permitted by regulations. The interested party only has to submit the signed document and the required documentation, and is authorised to start the activity or work immediately.
The management is carried out entirely at the electronic headquarters of the council, where the official form is already available. It can also be submitted in person at the municipal registry, although the Town Hall recommends the digital route as it is faster.
The responsible declaration applies to minor actions, such as interior renovations, installation of terraces, or changes of ownership of businesses. It does not replace the urban licence in cases of major works or activities requiring environmental assessment.
With this measure, the Council aims to reduce bureaucracy and facilitate the opening of small businesses and the rehabilitation of homes in the municipality. Municipal technicians will review the documentation afterwards and may require corrections if deficiencies are detected.
Interested residents can consult the specific requirements for each procedure on the Municipal Procedures page of the official website or at the electronic headquarters, where they will find step-by-step guides.
