The August municipal bulletin reviews the programming of the festivities, which are celebrating their tenth anniversary, and addresses safety, health, and summer leisure.

The Valdelaguna Town Hall has published issue 262 of its municipal information bulletin 'De Valde', corresponding to August 2026. This month's edition focuses on the tenth anniversary of the Festivities in Honour of the Virgen Blanca, which will be celebrated with a special programme included in the bulletin itself.

In addition to the patron saint festivities, the bulletin dedicates a section to the celebration of the Virgen del Carmen and to 'Cine Nights', which this year will include a grand show. It also announces the first bullfighting event of the Southeast Contest, a bullfighting event that will take place during the festivities.

Regarding safety, the bulletin includes a campaign under the slogan 'For a festival free of assaults', aimed at raising awareness among residents and visitors. It also announces a course on basic life support, a practical training to know how to act in health emergencies.

The edition also covers the visit of the Deputy Minister of Presidency and Local Administration, an institutional meeting that strengthens the relationship between the municipality and the Community of Madrid. In the social sphere, the initiative 'Give your clothes a new life!' is promoted, a proposal to encourage textile recycling.
