On September 9, the Ministry of the Interior will set up an issuance point in Villalbilla to process ID and passports. There are 50 slots available exclusively for residents, with prior appointments until September 8.
Residents of Villalbilla will be able to renew or obtain their ID and passport without leaving the municipality on Wednesday, September 9. Staff from the Ministry of the Interior will travel to the locality to handle these procedures at the «Las Marionetas» parking, located at calle Mondéjar, 29, between 09:00 and 14:00 hours.
The initiative, highly requested throughout the Community of Madrid, has 50 slots reserved exclusively for people registered in Villalbilla. Those needing to obtain or renew both the ID and the passport must request two separate appointments, one for each document.
Appointment requests can be made until Tuesday, September 8 at 14:00 hours either in person or by phone at the Villalbilla Town Hall (Plaza Mayor, 2, phone 918859002), at the Western Delegation of Peñas Albas (Avenida de España, 2, phone 918792818) or at the Local Police (Camino Valdeláguila, 6, phone 689797722).
To register, you need to provide your name and surname, contact phone number, and the procedure you wish to carry out. The presence of the interested party is essential on the day of the appointment. The official fees are 12 euros for the ID and 30 euros for the passport, and payment must be made by card.
In addition to the issuance and renewal of the digital ID and the passport, during the day, it will also be possible to update the certificates and passwords of the ID through the Document Update Point. The requirements vary depending on the procedure and the personal situation of each applicant, so it is recommended to check the necessary documentation in advance in the documents published by the Town Hall.
These visits do not occur at fixed intervals, so it is not possible to guarantee that the team can return to the municipality on a specific date.
The Town Hall asks residents who have obtained an appointment to attend on the scheduled day and time, and if they cannot attend, to inform in advance so that another person can take advantage of it. Those who miss out on a slot will have to wait for the next visit of the team to Villalbilla.
