The Villalbilla Town Hall has opened the registration period for the Active and Healthy Ageing Programme 2026/2027, with activities running from October 2026 to June 2027 at four centres in the municipality.
The Villalbilla Town Hall has opened the registration period for a new edition of the Active and Healthy Ageing Programme 2026/2027, aimed at the older residents of the municipality. The plan seeks to promote independent living and address the physical, mental, and social well-being of participants, as reported by the council.
Activities will take place continuously from October 2026 to June 2027 and will be distributed among four venues: the Villalbilla Senior Centre (Plaza del Quiosco), the Raíces I Home in El Robledal (Plaza de la Urba), the Raíces IV Home in Los Hueros (Calle Mayor), and the Peñas Albas Multipurpose Centre (Avenida de España).
Each centre has its own schedule from Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon hours, to facilitate attendance for all interested parties. The offerings include areas such as movement, mental training, and promoting autonomous living, with which the Town Hall aims to create support networks and community to reduce unwanted loneliness.
Residents can register through the forms provided for each venue (Villalbilla, El Robledal, Los Hueros, and Peñas Albas) or by visiting their designated centre on the established dates during this month of September, according to municipal information.
