The Outdoor department of Las Rozas has launched a specific training plan in rescue, evacuation, and emergencies in the mountains for its technicians and instructors.

The Outdoor department of the Sports council of the Las Rozas City Council has initiated a specific training plan in rescue, evacuation, and emergencies in the mountains for its team of technicians and instructors, aiming to enhance safety in the outdoor activities they organise throughout the year.

Climbing, hiking, and mountain biking are some of the most requested activities, both by adults and minors through schools. To carry them out with the highest guarantees, the team participates in a training and recycling programme alongside the main rescue and emergency services of the Community of Madrid.

The training focuses on improving prevention and response protocols in case of incidents, so that participants can act quickly and effectively in the event of an accident or risky situation during outings. The aim, according to municipal sources, is to provide an increasingly safe and higher quality service to the residents of Las Rozas who sign up for these activities.

This specialisation plan adds to the usual offerings of the department, which organises activities throughout the year. Interested parties can check the schedule and registration requirements on the municipal website or at the sports facilities in the municipality.
