The municipality of Navacerrada will debut its first municipal padel tournament this summer. The event, organised by the Town Hall, will be held between August 21 and 23 and is aimed at local players and those from the Sierra de Madrid.
The competition, named the Navacerrada Padel Tournament 2026, aims to promote the practice of this sport in the area and provide a recreational-sporting activity during the summer holidays. The council has not yet specified the number of places or the playing system, but has confirmed that registrations are now open.
Those interested can formalise their participation through municipal channels, where information about categories, schedules, and possible fees will also be provided. The expectation is that the tournament will take place on the padel courts of the municipality, although the Town Hall has not detailed whether additional facilities will be made available.
With this initiative, Navacerrada joins the summer sports offerings of the Community of Madrid, which has seen an increase in the number of local padel tournaments in recent years.
